LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Two weeks removed from an emergency appendectomy, Bret Michaels was rushed to the hospital on Thursday night where it was discovered the rocker had suffered a massive brain hemorrhage, according to People.

The 47-year-old “Rock of Love” and “Celebrity Apprentice” reality star is currently listed in critical condition.

“After several CAT scans, MRIs and an angiogram, [doctors] decided to keep Michaels in the ICU and are running several tests to determine the cause. [It] will be touch and go for the next few days while he is under intense observation,” a source close to the situation told People.

Beverage of the “Weak”. Jon Tucker

Now my beer of the week choice is definately a beer that has been looked over and forgotten but please do not judge this book by its cover. Amstel Light is a Dutch brewed beer. I think the reason why Amstel Light gets such a bad review is because I’ve heard complaints that it doesn’t have the body to back up the flavor. This light lager has a nice crisp hop taste. I is low in calorie, so it is expected to have a little less body, like those of most light beers. Heres a little info on the beer itself.

127 calories, 6.7 grams of carbohydrates, 0.0 grams of fat, and that is a serving of 16 oz.

Now the price of this beer is really all depends on where you buy it but expect to pay just a little bit more than your other well known brands. So to wrap it all up, if your watching what you eat and drink for weight control, this is not a bad beer to do it with. It has a very fine taste, with that crisp hops taste and smell. So my friends grab an Amstel Light, and enjoy that light golden brown goodness.
