Mysterious “note” found on Jani Lane…

It’s just been released that Jani Lane didn’t have any ID on his person when he was found dead. However, he did have a hand written note in his pocket saying “I am Jani Lane” but it was not written in his hand writing…The plot thickens..chuck
According to TMZ.com, a note saying “I am Jani Lane” was found in the former WARRANT singer’s pocket on the day he died. However, Jani, who had no official ID on him when his body was discovered at a Los Angeles motel on August 11, isn’t believed to have written the note himself.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ.com that the note contained a phone number for a person close to Jani, and police contacted that person after Jani‘s body was discovered.
Investigators have confirmed to TMZ.com that the note was written by one of Jani‘s friends who had placed a similar note on Jani in the past.
According to the site, members of Jani‘s family are furious over the fact that the person who wrote the note didn’t help Lane seek treatment for the singer’s substance-abuse problem instead of simply tucking a piece of paper into Jani‘s pants.
It’s unclear if the same person who wrote the note also checked Jani into the Comfort Inn since it appears the room where Jani was discovered was not purchased by Jani himself.
An autopsy performed on Lane proved inconclusive pending the results of toxicology tests, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter says it may take several weeks to finalize the cause of death.

Bob Seger Opening Concert at the new Ford Center Nov. 9th 2011

ANSVILLE â Legendary musician Bob Seger will rock the Ford Center as the newly named Downtown facilityâs opening act, Evansville Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel announced Monday.
The 66-year-old singer and his Silver Bullet Band will come to Evansville on Nov. 9 during the second leg of their 2011 North American Tour.
Seger previously toured this year from March to May, playing 27 shows in 24 cities. The closest the rock star came to Evansville during that stint on the road was Indianapolis and Nashville, Tenn. A total of more than 350,000 fans saw Seger during that run, which marked the first time since in more than four years that the Hall of Fame rocker has hit the road.
Seger, a native of the Detroit-area, has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide. His first hit was âRamblinâ Gamblinâ Man,â which peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard chart in 1969, but he didnât reach the Top 40 again until he released his âNight Movesâ album. The title track from that release reached No. 4 on the chart in 1977. Some of his other hits include âOld Time Rock and Roll,â âLike a Rock,â and Against the Wind.â
Segerâs only No. 1 hit, âShakedown,â was the âBeverly Hills Cop IIâ theme song, which also garnered him Golden Globe and Oscar nominations. That movie was released in 1987.
Other expected stops on Segerâs fall tour, according to his website, include New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Orlando, Fla., Dallas and Denver,
