google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

I know the jokes are going to start flying all over the net but I will reframe from them. I enjoyed the tv show “the Monkee’s” and a lot of their songs..

Davy Jones, the lead singer of the 1960s  rock band The Monkees has died. He was 66.

An official from the Martin County, Fla. medical examiner’s office confirmed to ABC News that the office has been notified of Jones’ death and is is “currently evaluating whether or not the medical examiners office will take jurisdiction.”

Representatives for Jones did not immediately respond to ABCNews.com’s requests for comment. Jones is survived by his wife, Jessica, and four daughters from previous marriages.

The British born Jones joined The Monkees in 1965 and fronted a stable of rock hits, including “Daydream Believer” and “I’m a Believer.” The band was formed as part of a TV series about a rock band also called “The Monkees.” When the show got canceled in 1971, the group, which included Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork, and Michael Nesmith, broke up.

They reunited in various incarnations, most recently last spring for a tour through England and America. A second leg of the tour was slated for fall 2011 but the dates were axed without explanation in August.

The Real D’Nero interview!!

google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

Recently James Lowe from Crud Magazine sat down with one of the very exciting artists on the
scene. The following is a written interview we conducted with the artist while they were working
on their next CD and Tour.

First off  I want to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to talk to us here today, as
i know our readers have been requesting us get you in here some how some way. You folks
have been described by your fans as internet sensations in this interview we will attempt to figure out how this artist became such a great performer and what they have going forward.

1. Tell us about the history of the band?
I’m D’nero. I started in 2004 writing songs. I was in a recording studio at the age of 15. In 2007,
I signed a 2-album deal with Tha’ Real Productions. During that deal I released 1 album, and
the company folded during the recording of the 2nd album. When i became a unsigned artist in
2008, I scraped up enough money to record a whole album, and put it on iTunes which is where
my first royalty checks came from. Throughout my 6 year career, I have over 20,000 units sold
digitally & physically, 200,000+ online hits, 2 award nominations by the IEA, Ranked #1 in NJ by
Reverbnation, and am now currently signed to Reformatory Records, about to drop the biggest
single of the year! As well as performing at South by Southwest this year & going on tour.
2 What makes the band so refreshing for this day and age of music?
I am mainstream (I am not going to hide that) but I am having fun with my music, I am not trying
to cash out and try to be a 1-hit wonder or anything like that.
3. What have been your high and low points since being in music?
My highest point in my music career was when my royalty checks allowed me to not have to
work, and have my bills covered with still a lot of money left over every month. My lowest point
was when I was making $0 money in royalties, no job, in debt and actually had to take 2 months
off of recording to get my personal life back on track.
4. How has the local response been to your music?
I have heard nothing but good and positive things about my music. I get love everywhere that I
go.
5 Tell us about how music effected you getting into music yourself?
I have been listening to music since I can remember. Music itself is probably one of the biggest
reasons why I originally got into making music myself, the way that a song can move you or shift
your mood. I wanted to be able to do that.
6 Where can we find you online?
You can find me on every major online retail store, all you have to do is type in “D’nero” in the
search bar. There are also plenty of links that you can check out.
www.DneroMusic.com
www.ReformatoryRecords.com
www.Twitter.com/TheRealDnero
www.Reverbnation.com/Dnero
www.Myspace.com/Dnero609
and much more.
7 Finally what has your sights set on for the next year, anything big in the works?
Right now we got this new single that is gonna be huge, its called “Bottoms Up” and if you
haven’t heard it yet, you need to go and listen to it! This is going to be song of the year, I’m
100% confident in that.

Dave Grohl is having vocals issues…

google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

Lets send him good thoughts and prayers. He was the best thing Nirvana ever did… I added some Foo Fighter videos so enjoy! It’s great a band like these guys can make fun of their selves in the videos!

oo Fightershold fans all over the world, which is why they can often be found traveling the globe, taking their dynamic grunge rock to the masses. Fans in Singapore, though, are in for a bit of a disappointment.

The Foos have canceled their March 2 gig in Singapore, due to frontman Dave Grohl‘s vocal problems. “We deeply regret having to cancel,” the band said in an official statement. “It wasn’t an easy decision by any stretch but, after carefully considering medical advice, we felt we had no choice. Dave’s been told by more than one doctor that he has to take it easy on this voice. We hate to disappoint our fans in Singapore and hope you’ll all understand and that we’ll see you all in the not too distant future.” Get better soon, Dave!

Styx, R.E.O. & Uncle Ted Tour, all over Midwest but still no Evansville Ford Center (AGAIN)

google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

Odd how the Styx, REO and Ted Nugent tour is called “The Midwest Rock n Roll Express” but it’s not stopping in Evansville. So is the Ford center living up to its name? Who is doing the booking over there? Is it just for mainly Country and Easy Listening bands to play there? I feel like a WKDQ or WIKY program director is booking the shows there… 🙁

And you think that Islam/Muslim is a friendly religion??? Look at this…

google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

This poor guy has been ordered to death for CONVERTING to Christianity after being a muslim. I am not even gotta capitalize mudslim. Why is it such a big deal that he has to be put to death? This guy didn’t kill someone or commit some horrible crime that deserves this kinda of punishment. He simply accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and not Muhammad.

Here in America you are a fool if you think this in not a violent religion or  you are turning a blind eye. The majority of Americans consider themselves Christians so the majority of you could possibly be put to death for your “faith” if  some leaders of the muslim community had its way. This religion needs to kept in check somehow some way or they need to update to the 21 century where you can believe in what you want to, even if its believing in frogs or trees, and not have to worry about someone ordering you to death for not thinking like they think you should. It’s still in the dark ages… Not that Christianity is perfect but the “Church” is not ordering the death of everyone that is jumping the bible ship  and headed toward Mecca.

Jesus said “To love your enemies”

Here is the story…

A trial court in Iran has issued its final verdict, ordering a Christian pastor to be put to death for leaving Islam and converting to Christianity, according to sources close to the pastor and his legal team.

Supporters fear Youcef Nadarkhani, a 34-year-old father of two who was arrested over two years ago on charges of apostasy, may now be executed at any time without prior warning, as death sentences in Iran may be carried out immediately or dragged out for years.

It is unclear whether Nadarkhani can appeal the execution order.
