Recently James Lowe from Kickacts Magazine sat down with one of the very exciting artists on the scene.

Welcome to Kick Acts. Tell us a little about yourself and your band and were you can be found at on the web.

My name is Adrian Scott Jeffreys im the vocalist for the gothic metal act Citadel Besieged ‘we formed in 2010 along side co founder Tim Hall guitars recorded and released two cds within two years.you can find us on Citadel Besieged. com

Who are your musical heroes, influences & why?

Adrian; Mercyful fate;early queensryche Ronnie James Dio

Tim: Randy Rhoads

Great musicians great songwriters

Do you have any advice for someone just getting started in playing music? Any pitfalls they should avoid?

Do it cause you love it there are no guarantees of making money let alone making it there are great musicians all over the world so don’t kid yourself. Work on your songwriting don’t be afraid to make mistakes or fail that’s how you learn find your niche go with your strengths work hard.

 lamen

Do you have a greatest gig story you’d like to share?

None sorry

On the same token as the above question. How about a “worse gig” ever story.

none

Do you have any other hobbies other than playing music? Collect stamps? Collect hats from off the side of the road? Draw pictures of boobs?

I gave up those three vices years ago

What do you think about the present music scene or lack of? Care to address that?

Ive always been into the European metal scene even though there are a lot of great north American bands my roots were in that market and still are.

Tell us something about each of your band members that we wouldn’texpect to hear… Like their hobbies or something like that…

Were both pretty boring guys music is about all we have time for besides working and taking care of family

Hypothetical situation. You’re stranded on Gilligan’s island and you getto hook up with only one of the girls… Is it Ginger, Mary Ann or Mrs. Howell and why?

Mary Ann ‘why what end of fucking story she would have made a priest kick out a stained glass window.

Our last question  is called “Shout It Out Loud”. It’s were you get to talk aboutwhatever you want to talk about. So go ahead and “SHOUT IT OUT LOUD”!

There’s a lot of great melodic heavy metal out their that in my opinion has been completely ignored ive never understood how the spectrum could be so out of whack. Its one extreme or the other and right in the middle you’ve got awesome musicians writing I incredible music and the majority has there heads so far up their own ass they can’t think for themselves. Mind boggling.

Eddie & the Thunder Kings debut @ Mojo’s Boneyard

google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

Big news from…

Hello friends, family, and those who simply forgot to renew an expiring protective order!  Regardless, we have some very exciting news!

Eddie &  the Thunder Kings  will be making their official debut on March 29th, 2014 at 8PM at Mojo’s Boneyard in Evansville, IN.  It’s going to be quite the party!  Along with playing some thunderous rhythm & blues, we’ll be mingling and meeting with everyone until midnight.  I’m quite anxious for you to see, hear and meet the band.  Remember, we’ll be recording some video/audio from this event for use on the web and such.  So, please be on your best behavior!   Ha! Ha!  We do invite you to record any specific song’s video on your phone/portable device so that we might incorporate your footage into the video too.  Don’t worry, we’ll supply the audio.

Seating is limited to approximately 65 people with a standing room of 100.  Judging by initial word of mouth, we may have a full house!  We’d suggest that you call ahead in order to make reservations for your party.  Please keep in mind; you will need to be there at least 15 minutes before the show starts in order to claim your reserved seats/table.  This would include any empty chairs being held for late arrivals.  We hate being sticklers about this but we really don’t want to deny seating to other patrons.  Also, any empty seats won’t really help our video.  So, if you make reservations… please show up!  Thanks!!

Now for those of you who somehow simply haven’t afforded yourself the pleasure of a visit, Mojo’s Boneyard is located directly east of Green River Rd. at 4920 Bellemeade Ave. in Evansville, IN.  Their phone number is (812) 475-8593.  Please plan on arriving early and sampling their marvelous menu.  Their pizzas are da’ bomb!

We look forward to seeing you there!

   Peace,
