A new book on San Franciscan rockers Journey is due to hit stores May 3.

“Don’t Stop Believin’: The Untold Story Of Journey” is being billed as a definitive biography, tracing the band’s history since its formation in 1973.

Written by author Neil Daniels (“The Story Of Judas Priest: Defenders Of The Faith,” and “Robert Plant: Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Page & The Solo Years”), the book features original interviews and a wealth of research.

Journey are one of America’s most successful melodic rock bands, with record sales in excess of 75 million. And with the recent phenomenal success of “Don’t Stop Believin’,” now the most downloaded song of all time, they’ve been given a new lease on life.

These days, Journey are receiving more exposure than they have in years, thanks to the continued success of the smash hit. The band’s current singer is YouTube discovery Arnel Pineda.
