While I had originally intended to post my new article about my first show in 1969 today, something that I think a bit more important has pushed it aside for the moment.

Anne Fine is a 33 year old postal worker and the mother of 2 young children, 3 months and 3 years old. After returning to work from maternity leave and having recurring pain that would not go away, she returned to her doctor and was diagnosed with Stage IV terminal lung cancer.
On Saturday, August 15, a Poker Run will ride out from starting at and will end around 4:00 PM at the River City Eagles, located at 1824 West Franklin located in Evansville, IN.

Music begins as soon as the run ends and is being provided by Woodsboro. Food prepared by Shyler’s BBQ will be sold with all of the proceeds going to the benefit. The event is open to the public and our thanks go out to the kind folks at the River City Eagles for offering up a place to make it all happen. Please open your hearts and come join us in helping Anne and her family at this difficult time and if you are unable to attend, I’ll just ask that you all keep Anne and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Peace Ya’ll,
The Cat
