Why it’s a good for America, that Rio got the 2016 Summer Olympics

google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0
The news came down last week that Rio de Janeiro, not Chicago will be hosting the 2016 Summer Olympic games. Given the histrionics and hysterical reactions of some, one might have thought the Chicago Cubs were moving to Mexico City.

However, this is a blessing in disguise. It’s obvious that today’s Olympics are simply a form of corporate welfare (something that most left of center typically find abhorrent). The Olympics today, are simply a play thing for the rich at taxpayer expense. Tax money is used to provide security for athletes, huge stadium venues are built, that are seldom used afterward, and chaos is the typical result of the resident’s of the host city trying to go about their everyday lives.  In fact, according to most polls, about half of Chicago residents did NOT want the Olympics to come to Chicago.

That aside, there is a simple fiscal argument no one seems to have considered. Given President Obama’s huge social agenda and the massive budget deficit projected over the next ten years, given that Social Security and Medicare are already placing huge demands on the budget, and given what long term care needs for tens of millions of baby boomers as they age over the next twenty to thirty years, is this really the time to be wasting tax payer dollars on a massive party?

Let Rio have the 2016 games. The beaches there are better than any in Chicago for beach volleyball, we can all enjoy the games on television, without having to inflict more debt on the taxpayers and chaos on one of America’s greatest cities.  And no, it is in no way “unpatriotic” to be glad that Chicago was spared the 2016 games.

A High School Tradition Continues :P

google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

You know, it’s been awhile but it has finally happened. It happened tonight while I was at the EZ Shop on 41 getting ready to go into the store and get a bottled water while talking to my wife Denise on the cell. You know, the type of bottled water that the TV commerical states “Two hours in the meeting, forever in the landfill”. Well, they forgot to add the 1 day it will stay in my trash can before it gets picked up by the garbage men. ;P … Anyway back to the story. I heard a continuous car horn blaring at the stoplight. It sounded like a car accident getting ready to happen or trying not to happen. So everyone in the parking lot at the EZ Shop turned and looked toward the stoplight and there was a car turning sharply heading south onto 41. The horn was still blaring!! And then I saw what all the commotion was about. There in the passenger side front seat window was a large naked ass!!! We all had been mooned!!!

Man that brought memories of when we used to get out of high school and my friend David Lutz would ride in the passenger seat of my 1976 Buick Century and moon people!!! We used to do it all the time!!! What great memories those are. We would do the same thing. Blow the horn, have people look and then David would jump up with his bare naked ass and moon them!!!

In today’s world were we have Xboxes, instant communication and super fast lives, it’s good to know that some kids can still have fun the old fashion way and ride around with their ass hanging out of a car window!!! No harm, no foul. Just a tradition that lives on!!! And if by chance those young people that did that happen to read this … You keep up the good fight and never trust anyone over 30.

peace out

Thanks for the memories Bea Arthur …

4051e49dfa048f3c I remember as a kid watching you on “Maude”. I didn’t realize the impact your show had on “social” America until after I grew up. I always laughed when you would slam the door in  people’s faces. I remember you being on “All in the Family” and the arguments your character had with Archie Bunker too. Later on my wife and I would watch “The Golden Girls” reruns over and over on the Lifetime channel for Lesbians, I mean Lifetime channel for women. 🙂 You brought us countless chuckles and made us all think about serious life questions along the way too. You will be dearly missed …

What’s up with the Gay haters?

google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

I don’t get it. Someone please help me understand this. This goofball blogger Perez Hilton (real name Mario) recently asked Miss California during the Miss USA 2009 a fully loaded no way to win question and when she didn’t give the politically correct answer he wanted to hear, he immediately did a video blog about it and called her “a dumb bitch”. His question to her was “Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalize same-sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit? Why or why not?”

Her reply was this … ‘Well, I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that’s how I was raised.’

Perez later apologized for his “dumb bitch comment” then preceded to appear on every news outlet to further his agenda.

Here is my observation. Gays “want” equal treatment. Fair enough and I can agree with that. But a majority of them including Perez ,when they don’t feel like they get their agenda “across”, they throw a slap happy bitch fest and holler “hate crimes”. Perez compared the Gay’s argument equal to “racism” and when he was losing the words battle with Dennis Prager on Larry King he got pissy. This is America, we won’t all agree on everything, but people like Perez can not accept the fact that not everyone accepts their lifestyle so they then get in the media and try to shove it down every one’s throat.

The ironic part of this is this. They want us to accept them as they are. If we don’t accept them, they try to “force” us to accept their life style and why?, because they can’t accept our life style. Get it? We have to accept them but they do not have to accept us. That’s called a double standard and that’s not being equal. They cry foul when they don’t get their way. So when I say ‘Gay Haters’, it’s not the people that are straight and do not accept the gay lifestyle, it’s the gay lifestyle people that ‘hate’ on straight people …

Here is the video blog Perez made right after Miss California answered his question to her in an honest manner … and by the way, she wasn’t boo’d over her answer like he states. He was losing his argument and went on Larry King later and said the pageant changed the audio track and took the boo’s out…See, once again, he didn’t hear what he wanted to hear so he makes up another excuse…

Here is were Perez once again lost his agenda battle and made up shit with Dennis Prager on Larry King…

Scientists Discover A Nearly Earth-sized Planet

google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

By JENNIFER QUINN, Associated Press Writer Jennifer Quinn, Associated Press Writer

HATFIELD, England – In the search for Earth-like planets, astronomers zeroed in Tuesday on two places that look awfully familiar to home. One is close to the right size. The other is in the right place. European researchers said they not only found the smallest exoplanet ever, called Gliese 581 e, but realized that a neighboring planet discovered earlier, Gliese 581 d, was in the prime habitable zone for potential life.
