The courts recently decided that the FCC has no right to regulate what ISPs can allow or disallow on their networks. In my not so humble opinion, this is a bad thing. Comcast has already been caught “shaping” traffic without warning their customers. If the ISPs aren’t regulated, what’s to stop them from preventing you from visiting websites that they don’t approve of? The government, with all its faults, isn’t all bad and is a great tool for keeping faceless corporations at least a little honest. Think about it…
