RAT BASTARDS, the band led by RATT frontman Stephen Pearcy, has scheduled the following dates:

Oct. 28 – The Cube – Newark, DE
Oct. 29 – Penn’s Peak – Jim Thorpe, PA
Oct. 30 – Deerfoot Casino – Calgary, Canada

Pearcy will continue to release new music and solo projects 2010 and beyond. He says, “The new project I’m working on now will surprise a lot of people. I do play guitar and have since 1976.

“Where do you think some of the RATT music comes from all these years?”

“Maybe I’ll have someone else out singing in the new band. I’ll still sing for the RAT BASTARDS.

“The new music I’m working on is way agressive, with more than enough kick-ass to go around.”

RATT was recently forced to cancel its European tour in order to allow Pearcy to undergo urgent hernia surgery. However, the RATT family is happy to report that Stephen has made a full recovery and is glad to be back on the road.

“Infestation”, the first studio record in 11 years from RATT, sold around 14,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 30 on the Billboard 200 chart. The CD was released on April 20 via Loud & Proud.

“Infestation” was produced by Michael “Elvis” Baskette (CHEVELLE, ALTER BRIDGE) at his Virginia studio, marking the first time the band has recorded outside of Los Angeles. The album is full of attitude and of reflection, cycling through a range of emotions. There are party anthems that RATT are known for alongside more contemplative, thoughtful tunes.
