This the island “Bikini” aslo known as the Bikini Atoll. A beautiful set of islands one day and the next… a radioactive wasteland. It was 55 years ago on May 20th, that we dropped the first airborne Hydrogen bomb on it. We managed to set off 23 nuclear bombs over the years on it too… Good going there U.S. Enjoy the photograph, it’s an awesome display of beauty in a man made created hell.
