Post 16 Will Assist Area Tornado Victims
In the wake of the severe weather and tornado outbreaks across Kentucky, KSP posts and headquarters will serve as designated drop off site for items needed in devastated communities.
The need has arisen for a reputable location that citizens feel comfortable leaving donations at, knowing they will reach the people in most need. Items will be evenly distributed to all communities impacted. Collection of items will be starting tomorrow (Tuesday, March 6, 2012) and will continue through Sunday, March 10, 2012.
Monetary donations are not encouraged. Anyone who wishes to contribute monetarily should contact an organization such as Red Cross.
