False alarm folks, Gordon Lightfoot has not died… everyone go back to bed

It hit the NewsWires this morning that Gordon Lightfoot passed away while on his American tour. The 71 year old Folk singer released a statement saying he is “alive and feels fine”. Isn’t odd how these days some news agencies will put out a story that they haven’t even checked up on?
