An open letter to the protesting…
Please help me understand something here… You preach acceptance, and tolerance. It’s your “Cause”. It’s what you believe in.Absolutely nothing wrong with that. But when someone doesn’t accept you for what you are, you go into hate mode. Take for instance the “Chick fil A” issue. The President of that company simple expressed his opinions on Gay marriage and what happened? A huge back lash against the company with Boycott’s, emails, threats, protests and other “intolerable” acts. Why can’t you just accept it and move on? Is everyone’s acceptance that important to you? And in reality, you can’t accept his opinion but you’re trying to force him and his Company to accept yours, so who wins here? Who’s right and who’s wrong?
Look, I don’t care if you are gay, straight, bi, transgendered, or anything else for that matter and why would you label yourself something anyway. That’s a form of self separation too… But for a group that seems always in your face to accept you or your gonna regret it, that’s not fair to the rest of us. In life, not everyone is ok with everyone and everything…It’s just how it is. “So what” if someone’s opinion doesn’t agree with your way of thinking? Don’t act like a spoilt brat that’s not getting his or her way and scream at the top of your lungs and throw things around until you force someone to change. That’s not winning people over. That my friend is “BULLYING”.

The “target” according to what I read in the news and all over Facebook is “Chick Fil A”..So what does that make you…? The “Bully”.

Don’t hate on me… I accept people for what they are or aren’t. I don’t care about your bedroom preference. In reality no one should care about yours or mine or be defined by it, or yet, define themselves by it…How bout we’re all humans instead. But for those that do define it by that, just accept it and go on. What is that old saying? Like water off a ducks back?
If you don’t like what the President of Chick Fil A said and you feel like not spending your money there… That’s fine. But to turn this into a shouting down match of everyone that doesn’t agree with you is pointless and really shows the rest of the world (those that don’t accept your lifestyle or preferences) how little you really are for “acceptance and tolerance”. It’s the old “repent or die” mentally just with a different approach this time around.
You really want to make a difference? How about forgiveness and love toward those that don’t accept you instead…Win them over with kindness.

Sherman Hemsley, the actor who made the character George Jefferson famous in “The Jeffersons,” has died, El Paso cops tell TMZ.
Hemsley died at his home in El Paso, Texas.
Sources tell us … it appears Hemsley died from natural causes.

To celebrate the 30-year anniversary of this epic release, JUDAS PRIEST present you with “Screaming For Vengeance – Special 30th Anniversary Edition”, containing not only the remastered original album plus bonus tracks, but also a live DVD from the 1983 US Festival show, filmed in San Bernadino CA on May 29, 1983.
The US Festival was intended to be a celebration of evolving technologies; a marriage of music, computers, television and people — organized by Steve Wozniak, formerly of Apple.
The “Screaming For Vengeance – Special 30th Anniversary Edition” live DVD was filmed at the second, and what turned out to be last, US Festival in 1983. The Sunday was the Heavy Metal Day. “It was the day new wave died and rock ‘n’ roll took over.” It set the single-day concert attendance record for the U.S. with an estimated 375,000 people.
JUDAS PRIEST had this to say about this memorable day in metal history: “On the day that we performed, we flew in by helicopter — and the first sight we saw was that of thousands of abandoned cars piled up around the crests of the hills that surrounded the festival arena, which as we went over took our breath away. For there below us, spread throughout hundreds of acres was a massive crowd — over three hundred thousand strong! The summer heat was raging and combined with the hot Santa Ana winds made for a scorching metal furnace on stage.”

Movie Theater shooting..What in the Hell is happening with the world?

It seems like everything is sliding off the rails. When I was in school I never heard of a school shooting that I remember. Then a few years later there have been a rash of them. Now we have face eating “zombies” that are attacking people and chewing their faces off them. Little Kids disappearing every damn day and most of the time a parent is too blame. Now we have a shooting at a movie theater… Have we all lost our freaking minds? And sadly, it has to be in the back of every law enforcement Officers’ mind that there will be copycats that will take this “new” idea and run with it.
And to top it off, this will give the Government another reason to attempt to ban guns.
I don’t know friends, I don’t have the answer but I wish someone would but the brakes on and slow this out of control car down and let’s get back to a better time.

You are going to have to over look the overdub vocals of Ozzy… Pretty obvious… But I saw the show in Evansville that year and it was still awesome with Brad but Brad isn’t Randy. Ozzy should have retired after this and left on a high note. Now all his notes are awful. Just watched “God Bless Ozzy Osbourne”… Poor guy, he is about one foot from being in a rest home but still he is sent out to perform. During “No more tears” he is soo slow on vocals the band has slowed down beyond album speed and Ozzy has two teleprompters that look like floor monitors in front of his mic. What has the world come to? He still has killer hair though 🙂
