google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

Taylor swift. Love her or hate her she is here… And recently she has made the jump to “pop” radio with her album titled “1989”. Her hit “Shake it Off” is busting up HUGE. “Players’ gonna hate hate hate!” lol..Well, she recently released a video of herself lip-syncing to her own song “Blank Space “while enjoying a car ride. Obviously the video is staged of course, her guy friend takes his hands off the wheel for an extended period of time but the video is cute and funny. Check it out!

AC/DC’s “Play Ball” video

google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

Here is the latest AC/DC release “Play Ball”. Not sure if it’s a left over piece that was pulled off the music shelf or it’s a brand new song written by the current line up but it does Modulate through a couple of keys which for AC/DC, hasn’t been done that often. Please enjoy nuns playing soccer and the indoor all female football teams… As with AC/DC, the song has at least “2” meanings…lol.

Kind  of different and sad not seeing Malcolm Young in the mix. 🙁 So what do you think? Hit or Miss?

Culture Club’s new single “More than Silence”

google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

Boy George’s vocals have aged like a fine wine. The songs are far deeper and more meaningful than the stuff released back in the day…

And a personal favorite of mine of Boy George!!

King of Everything…

Phil Rudd is making news but let’s look at Mr. Roger’s…

google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

Phil Rudd and his troubles are all over the net this morning. Look’s like a sad ending to an otherwise successful life he has lead up until this point…If you are interested in Phil Rudd’s problems here in the Link. PHIL RUDD

However, I saw an interesting article in my newsfeed this morning about Fred Rogers. Or otherwise known as Mr. Rogers to millions of kids that grew up in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. He was a welcome friend to many of us everyday. I remember watching him in grade school. He was so important that we would stop class and tune in. I also watched him as I got older. Even as our kids were growing up I continued to watch Mr. Rogers’s Neighborhood. In a world where there is much chaos and unfairness, Mr. Rodger’s had a way of calming us down. We may not have had the best childhood but Mr. Roger was comforting and soothing…

Here are some excerpt’s from the article.

mr-rogersHe was named after his grandfather, Fred McFeely, who often said, “You’ve made this a special day by just being yourself. There’s no one else in the world quite like you.”

According to The Simple Faith of Mister Rogers author Amy Hollingsworth, little Freddy Rogers was bullied walking home from school. “We’re going to get you Fat Freddy,” the other boys taunted.

“I used to cry to myself when I was alone,” he said. “And I would cry through my fingers and make up songs on the piano.” As he grew up, he decided to always look past the surface of people to the “essential invisible” within them.

For the rest of the article go here. FRED ROGERS

“The Naked Adam Show” Podcast updated Nov 2nd Edition!

google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

Have you checked out the latest podcast? Here it is! Please listen/share/like! Thanks 🙂

Radio 1

Tony Gish

We live in a fast paced world. High Speed low frag as one of my friends always says. We have super fast internet, cell phones, Ipads, and data coming in at us from each direction at a 100 million Kb per second ( figuratively speaking). From sun up until sun down and really, 24 hours a day. Information from texts, email notices and alerts. News and weather updates and don’t forget Facebook notifications. It’s almost never ending…But in reality, some times it’s good to slow down. To smell the roses. We all need to slow down. Agree? To slow down and remember about life and how important our short stay here is to ourselves and to others. Our spiritual well beings and to our soul…

Let me introduce you to Tony Gish and his weekly radio program “The Naked Adam Show“. It’s a 30 minute program that plays good music and has an encouraging word for each of us. He isn’t “preachy” so give it a listen… He is like a good neighbor that pats you on the back and tells you everything is going to be ok. We all need that pat on the back and that encouraging word. He doesn’t have all the answers but he shares about the person that does.

His radio program is updated weekly and I strongly encourage you to give it a listen. In fact, I have started listening to it daily while at work. The podcasts are archived so if you miss it Sunday morning at 10:30am on  WSON 96.5 FM, you can listen at your convenience from the website anytime or download the radio app. And go by his Facebook page and let him know you’re listening to his program. He would deeply appreciate hearing from you.

Also, if you don’t mind. Please like and share this article with all your friends! 🙂
