Let’s see, Does this mean trouble is in the Queensryche camp?

The whole Queensryche band is going out and doing dates playing songs off their first five albums with another singer and using the name “Rising west” for the band name? Remember just recently Geoff Tate told the audience at  “Rock on the Range” that they suck. And everyone knows Queensryche hasn’t released a good album since Degarmo left. The singer they are using is Todd La Torre. He sounds more like Geoff Tate now than Geoff Tate does… Opinions?

Boston Singer Brad Delp commited suicide over a spy camera…

or so its being reported  now…

Boston singer Brad Delp installed a hidden camera in his fiancee’s sister’s bedroom – and killed himself nine days after he was caught.

Evidence given in the court case between Boston mainman Tom Scholz and a newspaper revealed how Delp, who committed suicide in 2007, was ashamed and apologetic after his spy device was found.

Events came to light as part of Scholz’s claim that the Boston Herald defamed him by suggesting he was to blame for his bandmate’s death.

Delp was engaged to Pamela Sullivan while her sister Meg Sullivan lived in the singer’s house. His relationship with Meg was described as “platonic”.

But in February 2007 she discovered his battery-powered spy device when it fell from its hiding place. She confronted him about it then went to stay with her boyfriend.

Delp emailed her to apologise, saying: “I feel sick about this, and deservedly so.” He later added: “I want to try and make you understand that I consider myself a decent person who made a dreadful error in judgement. I acted out of some impulse that is still not completely fathomable to me.”

But her boyfriend, Boston sound engineer Todd Winmill, ordered him to tell his fiancee what had happened. “He essentially apologised for half an hour,” said Winmill. “I told him he had to tell Pamela. He didn’t like the thought of having to do that.”

Delp later took his own life by lighting two charcoal grills in his sealed bathroom, leading to his death by carbon monoxide poisoning. In one of four notes he wrote: “I have had bouts of depression and thoughts of suicide since I was a teenager.”

Afterwards the Boston Herald reported he’d been “beaten down by the years of dealing with Tom Scholz,” which the bandleader says amounts to blaming him for the singer’s death. He’d countered that Delp’s depression was caused by “an extremely upsetting and embarrassing incident,” although he’d refused to provide details.

But Meg Sullivan says Delp had told Pamela about the camera, and the couple were dealing with the issue. She tells the Boston Herald: “In the years that followed Brad’s death it has seemed that Tom Scholz has desperately tried to find someone to blame for Brad’s decision to take his life. Quite contrary to what the article implies, Brad’s fear of the repercussions from the event between us was not the reason that he decided to end his life.”

Black Panthers keeping the hate alive I guess…

This is America, you know “Home of the Free and the Brave”… From my understanding the Black Panther movement was influential in the 60’s during the social unrest… Fast forward to the new millennium and apparently they are keeping the “hate” alive just like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. But that is for another blog and another time. But here are some quotes out of this recent article from “The Daily Caller”. My comments  are in red…

“Black peoples are the whores and prostitutes of the Democratic Party, and mistreated mistress that is courted in the late of night, but left hanging when it is time for real change in the light of the post election day,” Shabazz wrote, following a dissertation on the need to “Vote for Revolution.”

Good going Shabazz, make a race feel like they are whores to white people and other races. You are keeping “your people” down by insulting them like this…

Shabazz detailed his past hopes for Obama as the first African-American president, noting that Obama has not lived up to them — specifically by continuing the policies of the Bush administration in the so-called war on terror and ignoring the economic plight of black Americans.

“The black community is at large no better off that (sic) before he was in office. We are curious as to what his agenda is for Black people in America and if he even has one,” Shabazz added.

Once again, this is America… Don’t like how much you are or are not making? Change it. Get an education, get a better paying job, move out of your neighborhood into a better neighborhood. George Jefferson did it you can too. Everyday people move up and down the social ladder. Whites, blacks, and every other color in the rainbow. We as a nation have got to stop providing for the whites and blacks and everyone else that free loads… If you are unable to work, then you need assistance but if you are pumping out babies like the Alien mother and getting rewarded for ever illegitimate child you give birth to, you should have to get your ass out and work and for the sperm donors that “hit it and run”… they should be put to work and their money not mine be given to the mothers of their kids…I can go on and on…

Republicans, according to Shabazz, are undeserving of African-American votes. He wrote, “Only bootlicking Uncle Toms such as Clarence Thomas and Herman Cain pledge loyalty to this racist party that is overtly contemptuous and hostile to poor and working people, unions, and the like.”

Jeesh, using a term from the 1800’s like “Uncle Tom” is just another way to incite people and is not necessary or productive … Everyone should be proud of their heritage and color. But to keep someone “down” because of it, aren’t we all past this now?

Can’t we all just get along without our leaders trying to start race wars? I know “We, the People” are smarter than that as a whole…

“Black America, you must decide who will best represent you in 2012. You must decide if you will choose the ballot as a means to change, or the bullet,” Shabazz wrote, adding that “demanding change does come by any means necessary.”

I wonder if he using the term “Bullet” is a metaphor or does he actually mean a real bullet?

Inclosing…I looked up this guy “Shabazz” on Wikipedia… Seems his real name at one time was Paris Lewis. His Dad was killed and his Mom became a successful Business woman… See In America this opportunity for success is available to all that want to work for it… And his Mom did.

 And who is this guy? This is from Wikipedia also…

Shabazz first came to widespread public attention in 1994, when Unity Nation, a student group he founded at Howard University, invited Khalid Abdul Muhammad, chairman of the New Black Panther Party, to speak.^[7] Introducing the speaker, Shabazz engaged in a call and response with the audience:

“Who is it that caught and killed Nat Turner?”

“The Jews!”

“Who is it that controls the Federal Reserve?”

“The Jews!”

“Who is it that has our entertainers… and our athletes in a vise grip?”

“The Jews!”^[5]

A year later, Shabazz told an interviewer that everything he said was true, with the possible exception of the assertion concerning Nat Turner.^[4]

The Anti-Defamation League describes Shabazz as “anti-Semitic and racist”.^[1]
