Watch David Gilmour’s New Animated Video for ‘Rattle That Lock’ | Rolling Stone

David Gilmour has released an ambitious animated music video for the title track to his new album, Rattle That Lock, out September 18th. It was created by Alasdair & Jock from Trunk Animation, under the creative directorship of Aubrey Powell of Hipgnosis, the design group that created iconic images for Dark Side of the Moon, Meddle, Atom Heart Mother, Obscured by Clouds, Wish You Were Here, Animals and other classic Pink Floyd records.

Def Leppard’s Vivian Campbell on having cancer , He would rather…

google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

From: Blabbermouth

“Die On My Feet Than Die On My Knees’

“I do not for one minute believe that this disease will kill me. However, if I happen to be wrong about that, I would much, much rather die on my feet than die on my knees.”

“It’s ironic that the most stressful part in all of this has not been dealing with the actual cancer or the treatment, but rather the struggle that I’ve had to endure with my bandmates and management in trying to convince them that this is not only logistically doable for me, but that it’s a big, big part of my recovery. The stress that this has caused me has been immense. Perhaps it’s something that only other cancer patients can comprehend; while everyone else wrongfully assumes it’s ‘best for you to stay in bed and recover,’ the truth is that continuing to live your life the way you want to is the best therapy. Doing so raises a big middle finger, f*ck you to cancer.

The day the Music died for our Generation of Metal

google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

I remember it like it was yesterday… He was our generation’s Jimi Hendrix. A little guy with monster guitar skills. He is still influencing guitarists all over the world 33 years later…R.I.P. Randy

What the Hell has “Matt Camp” been up to?

google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

mc_nI am playing with some amazing musicians in a cover band called Blame the Radio, it’s really taking off. Also, I still teach two days a week at Guitar Lab but may have to go to three soon. Have a lot of great students.

Finally I have been writing again (finally) and hope to follow up the Calling Corners with a new EP soon! May be CC, may be something completely new. Other musicians on album are still TBD though……but there have been talks……

thanks for askin!

Matt Camp
