Tell us a little about yourself and were you can be found online.

My name is AJ Satsangi, I am the composer, producer, and I guess the main guy in ‘The Ajay Project’. I’d like to think of myself as a storyteller, who expresses his thoughts through music (it’s a universal language with no boundaries of genres).  I created ‘The Ajay Project’ for 2 reasons:

1) I wanted to make a project where my music collides with other musicians, to create my vision but at the same time, showcase the individual band or artist.

2) No one can spell my last name to save their life, so I have to come up with something easy.

My website- http://theajayproject.com/

My Facebook page- https://www.facebook.com/AJAYProject

Who are your musical heroes and influences? Why?

My musical heroes are some of those musicians who have changed the music industry. Those that changed the way we perceive music, and what we want from music. Since the beginning of time, music has been played to celebrate, whether it be celebration for a new season, good harvest, new birth, etc. It then evolved into a society that we have written music for a specific gathering like classical music. Also march music for unifying masses, whether it is for a Nazi gathering or for the non-violent protest led by Mahatma Gandi or uniting people in the church. Music started with a specific point and was mostly written for positive causes/moments with major harmony.

Eventually, we realized the true nature of life’s ups and downs, and then we explored the minor harmony and entered the romantic era. Then it combined with some folk music and evolved into jazz and blues, which talks about daily struggles. This gave birth to the rock era, which evolved into metal music, which is related with the darker side of the life, this is contradictory to the origins of music. Of course we have electronic, funk and contemporary music, which is about material things and living in the moment. So to answer your question my musical influences are people who reinvented the way we perceive music. Some of my favorite artists are Joe Hisaishi, Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Linkin Park, Joe Satriani, David Maximichi, Yanni.

Do you have any advice for someone just getting started in the music business?

Just ask yourself these three questions

  1. What do you want/who do you want to be?
  2. What do have now? (Identify your talent and what you enjoy doing)
  3. What are the steps to becoming who you want to be?

If you ask yourself these three questions then you’ll have a clear path of what you should do. Along the way, you are going to make some stupid decisions and find yourself in a completely different direction. Just stop and ask yourself those same three questions and then take action. Most importantly, “Believe in your decision”.

What piece of advice did you ignore that you wish you hadn’t?

When I went to the music school, I wanted to be the best guitar player in the world, but after so many years I realized that I am a composer. It’s the composing process that I enjoy most. Guitar has been an intermediary for me. John Mayer and I had similar goals, but after 6 years of intense guitar study he became a singer-songwriter. Now I understand that playing guitar for 6 yrs. It made him what he is now, but in my case I am no John Mayer. 😛  I wish I could have saved myself from the mental stress and self hatred, because I was doing what wanted but I was not happy or fulfilled from it.

Do you have a greatest gig story or worst gig horror story you’d like to share?

Ironically my greatest and worst gig horror story is the same one. I wanted to make a song for my mom and the concept soon evolved. I decided to write the song for all the mothers in the world, so I wanted to translate the song into 10 different languages.

When someone buys the song the proceeds for that track go to a women’s empowerment charity in that particular country. So it was my best/greatest gig as it’s a song as it pays tribute to moms all around the world, also while giving to a good charity for years to come.

So, it will make much more sense if the song was released before Mothers Day, which was May 11th 2014 and I was finished writing it by Feb. 28th. I still had to finish the production, recording, mastering, etc. By the end of March I found all the talented singers and it was their job to translate the song into their own language. The difficulty here was to make the words fit the song and at the same time keep the meaning and message across the different languages. The process took longer then anticipated and it was already the end of April. Somehow I managed to finish the recording and had 10 days to finish the mixing & mastering. I sent it to a third party to be mixed and mastered and it turned out horrible. I finished the track 2 days before the release day.

Since then I have never hired a professional guy to mix or master.  I was able to get someone else to help me, it went online the day of but I missed several deadlines for the international markets.

In short, I am most proud of the song for the concept and the hard work but disappointed that I couldn’t get it out in time to share with more people.

Do you have any other hobbies other than playing music? Collect stamps? Collect hats from off the side of the road? Draw pictures of peckers or boobs?  Make sock puppets? Sit in the dark and eat Cheetos?

I’ve loved watching movies, since I was about 4 years old. I have always been fascinated by drawing and painting, and I would recreate something I would see in a movie on paper. To this day, I see music as an audiovisual and try to present my music that way as well.

When I create a song, I visualize and write a story in my head with details of angles and cinematography. Then I make it come alive through music. I love drawing and visual aspects, which is why I also design my own album art.

I also have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Sometimes I like to make my own gear, like guitar pedals and stuff.

What do you think about the current music scene or lack of? Care to address that?

Well, I feel like the current situation of the music industry is kind of similar to of the earth. We know it’s out of whack but progressing with technology; however, we are lagging in the steps to restore the natural balance. We understand what it uses to be like but we aren’t sure how to get back to that point.

Do you think reality shows like American Idol, X Factor and The Voice have helped or hurt the music industry as a whole?

Music has been a form of entertainment, since the beginning of time. Good or bad the public likes the entertainment factor. If a person is on a show like this and gets discovered out of the thousands than I think it’s great.

What is your opinion of unauthorized music downloads?

I am not a huge artist, and I am not selling enough so it does hurt me when someone illegally downloads. I understand that it is a serious issue, but I am from India, before the release of ITunes, every song was sold for 0.99 cents, which is approx. 60 rupees, which you can buy a decent hearty breakfast. Don’t even ask about how difficult it is to buy new CD. I remember before I had Internet in my house, I use to listen to English music on a bootleg cassette tape that my older cousin got from his friend.  To be honest, I was about 11 years old and that was when I was first exposed to English music. So if a guy like me on the other side of the world, who has the talent and the hunger for music but not the resource, then I guess that’s the only exception.

Tell us something about you that we wouldn’t expect to hear.

Hum, well if we go deep and a little personal, I have dyslexia, ADHD & bipolar disorder, but at the same time because of my life experiences, I’ve kind of developed skills to cope and be functional.

Hypothetical situation. You’re on Gilligan’s Island and you get to hook up with only one of the survivors… Which one and why?

To be honest, I have no f*n’ clue what Gilligan’s Island is!  I goggled it and it showed me a picture of a bunch of old ass people (not trying to hurt any one’s feelings, that is just my 1st honest reaction). So to answer your question I have no clue who they are or what there characters are, but if have to hook up with one of them, I’ll figure it out on the island and let you know when that happens. 😛

Do you know what a vinyl album is and have your ever purchased one? If so, what was it?

I saw vinyls in movies when I was in India. When I moved to US, I was in a music school and a friend of mine had a huge collection, he played me some and I immediately fell in love. Prior to that I had never heard of or seen a vinyl player or even a vinyl. But even though I loved it, I was never able to afford it. When I have extra money is usually goes to more gear. As a reminder of buying a vinyl player one day, I bought a vinyl album for 98 cents I bought George Benson “Breezin”. I keep it next to my table as an inspiration.

You’re marooned on an island with Justin Bieber. Do you choke him out the first night in his sleep or what?

Tempting, naaa, JK. To be honest, I’ve only heard “Baby”, and it was definitely meant for 13-year-old girls and to get him famous. I guess I would have done the same thing at that age, except it would be a rock song. 😛 haha

So to answer your question, I’d talk to the guy, try to find out who he really is behind the mask that the industry wants him to wear. Maybe collaborate and show him some real music 😛 hahaha of course we have to find a way off that island 1st 😛

What is your opinion of Miley Cyrus?

I am a really straightforward guy, and I’m not dumb enough to fall for this gimmick of the industry. What I’m trying to say is, from the music stand point I’m really not the kind of person who enjoys that kind of music. But from the appearance perspective, a lot of people hate Miley for her new image.  I want to know if she is this girl that we all adored or this fake person. All I can say is god bless her 😛

Which would you rather hear in concert?  Lip-synching or real vocals?

Ohh easy, real voice any day. I don’t listen to music where the artist is not talented enough to perform live. To me when I go to a concert it’s like watching a movie as compared to reading a book.  You might find much more details in a book but when you want a movie its much more accelerating, same thing when listening to your favorite record or hearing it played live.

Who, or what, is the next big thing?

I don’t follow the mass trends, so I don’t know what is going to be the next big thing. What I do know is that due to technology every day, more and more people are getting access to music and they are making their own fusion of different genres of music. Indian music is not all classical & Bollywood, there are artists who are making Hindi jazz-blues songs and Chinese music is not all oriental, they are fusing it with western music. So I think a new age era of different and tasty fusion is the next big thing, for me.

One artist you can’t get enough of and can’t live without is… Why?

Pink Floyd, I can’t get enough of them, it’s like whenever I listen to their music it takes me to a different place. It’s like they are my gateway to Narnia 😛

Confession time. Share a secret about yourself.

I always say that ‘I am making music for myself to satisfy my needs, for personal pleasure’ but I’d really like people to like my music. I don’t care if they like me or not, I really want them to like my music, I know that’s every musicians/artists dream, but it was not mine originally.  Due to the circumstances I grew up in, I just wanted to prove to myself that I can do it; the audience came into the picture later.

Favorite movie of all time and why?

If I have to pick one then that would be School of Rock, because every time I watch it, it motivates me, makes me happy and tells me that music is what I want to do.

Our last question is called “Shout It Out Loud”. It’s where you get to talk about whatever you want to talk about. So go ahead and “SHOUT IT OUT LOUD”!

Be yourself and do what you think you where born to do, don’t hold back, you may not fit in the society but if you have talent and you try hard and long enough you’ll make your own social group. ‘If you’ve been given wings, that means you are meant to fly’ maybe not today, not tomorrow but with hard work one day you will, cause that’s what you are suppose to be.

Triple threat? Does 3 of a kind beat a pair? A pair of boobs that is…

google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

Ok, as if the media hasn’t made thousands of, if not millions of young girls to older ladies feel ugly and not up to par with the photo shopped airbrushed Hollywood stick figures we are forced to see in the print and internet world…Here is the latest victim of it I would guess.

She says she had it done because she is tired of guys hitting on her. I am not sure she is a celebrity fame seeker or another causality of the “you will never look as good as me” photo shopped hoopla.

So guys and girls…What do you think? Three boobs better than two? I am going with PINK’s song. “Stupid Girl”. jmo…20,000 bucks for a 3rd boob. Not to mention radio Head and the Hollies will probably want royalties for her using their song Creep/The air that I breathe for her YouTube video…Opinions?

form, no flashy production or elaborate theme. Imagine it as a mix tape of
songs I wrote or co-wrote that stand alone uniquely. A inside view of the
other side of a tantric state of mind.”

information!

hed pe new

Who are your musical heroes and influences? Why?

It’s a hard question…  There are so many!  But to name a few, Dave
Mustaine, Vinnie Paul, Donald Tardy, Donald Fagen, Nobuo Uematsu, Howard
Shore, Verdine and Maurice White…  The list just goes on and on.  Megadeth,
Earth, Wind, and Fire, and Steely Dan have always been a huge influence due
to great song writing and the musical talent to back it up.  My
appreciation for orchestral soundtracks have stuck with me since I was a
kid.  Beautiful moody melodies are still some of my favorite items to be in
my music player today.  And of course, groove!  Vinnie Paul, Donald Tardy
(Pantera and Obituary) have always had me bobbing my head with their heavy
grooves.

Do you have any advice for someone just getting started in the music
business?

Well, here’s the best thing I can say…  Constant and never ending
improvement!  That’s not just advice for Music Industry, that’s advice for
success across the board!

What piece of advice did you ignore that you wish you hadn’t?

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Do you have a greatest gig story or worst gig horror story you’d like to
share?

Hmm….  Well actually the story of how I got connected with (HED)P.E. is
pretty amazing…  I mean my cousin accidently called his friend one day who
worked at a studio across the alley from where (HED)P.E. was auditioning
drummers all week.  They weren’t happy with the drummers they had all week
and after my cousin accidently called his friend Mark, Jared randomly went
into this studio and asked if anyone there knew a drummer that could play!
Coincidentally, my cousin was coming to see my Metal band at the time
called “Bloodbath and Beyond” THAT NIGHT, so Mark and my cousin Joshua
“LOGIC” Harris just happened to talk about me and my band on that mistake
phone call.  I never met Mark before that day, but he said “Yeah my friend
has a cousin who plays and I can try him if you want?”.  So I played my
show, my cousin got word and that night I talked to Jared over the phone.
He emailed me 6 songs, I listened to them on the way up there to the
audition the following morning after RAGING all night (hahahaha), and now
about 6 years later here we are!  It’s been a heck of a ride, tell you
what!

Do you have any other hobbies other than playing music? Collect stamps?
Collect hats from off the side of the road? Draw pictures of peckers or
boobs? Make sock puppets? Sit in the dark and eat Cheetos?

I really enjoy Console Gaming (PS3, XBOX).  Also, I love flying remote
control helicopters!  I have a Hausler 450, and a Blade nanoCPX, both 6
channel full 3D flight helicopters!  Those are loads of fun, but quite
expensive if you crash, let me tell ya!

What do you think about the current music scene or lack of? Care to
address that?

Well, the industry certainly has changed quite a bit, but I’m sure people
have been saying that about it for years and years anyway.  Only certain
thing about life is change, so you either adapt or be left behind.  That’s
why I said earlier, constant and never ending improvement is so important
because there’s always someone more hungry than you and ready to take your
business, you know?

Do you think reality shows like American Idol, X factor and The Voice have
helped or hurt the music industry as a whole?

That’s hard to say…  Maybe it created a bigger market for sugar coated pop
music, but I don’t see it making a big impact on Metal or Rock markets at
all.  Shows like American Idol are only entertaining when the people suck
anyway…  hahahahaha

What is your opinion of unauthorized music downloads?

Personally, I know it can’t be avoided.  I wouldn’t care, so long as you
spread the word and come out to see us when we’re close!  BUY SOME T-SHIRTS
INSTEAD!

Tell us something about each of your band members that we wouldn’t expect
to hear.

Hmm…  Mark Young is really into Bikram Yoga!  Jackson Benge has a Masters
degree in Graphic Design or something like that…  And Jared?  Totally
began his Musical Journey playing the piano as a kid.  That’s all I got!

Hypothetical situation. You’re on Gilligan’s island and you get to hook up
with only one of the survivors… Which one and why?

Not familiar with Giligan’s Island well enough to answer that one…

Do you know what a vinyl album is and have your ever purchased one? If so,
what was it?

Yes I know what it is, and the only vinyl I’ve ever purchased was
Mushroomhead’s latest record, “The Righteous and The Butterfly”.

You’re marooned on an island with Justin Bieber. Do you choke him out the
first night in his sleep or what?

Ah, Justin Bieber doesn’t matter enough to me to hate or like him…  Long
as he doesn’t act like a douche, as with anyone else, then maybe I won’t
knock him out… Maybe…

What is your opinion of Miley Cyrus?

Yikes…

Which would you rather hear in concert?* * Lip synching or real vocals?

Real vocals for sure!  I recently saw a show of a band I’ve been really
into lately, and was SO disappointed to see these clowns basically playing
along to their CD.  How embarrassing!  If I wanted to hear the CD version,
I’d enjoy it at home and hear whatever song I want to hear as many times as
I want to hear it.  A show should be something special every time you see
it, where that band is at THAT moment.  Ugh, I hate lip syncing…

Who, or what, is the next big thing?

If I knew the answer to that question, I would be WAY too busy to answer
you…  hahahahaha j/k

One artist you can’t get enough of and can’t live without is…

Nobuo Uematsu.  I know you may not know who he is, but he’s a Japanese
Soundtrack Composer who did most of the Final Fantasy Series music.  My
whole life his music has soothed my mind, and I still always listen daily
to ease my spirits.

1505139_10152163533504104_1124513517_nConfession time. Share a secret about yourself.

Before my music career, I was an Executive VP of Sales at a lending
institution during the huge real estate boom in the early 2000’s.  Yep,
total corporate pig with a suit and tie on every day, waking up miserable
daily.  Money isn’t everything…

Favorite movie of all time and why.

Lord of the Rings Trilogy!  It’s got everything; laughter, courage,
struggle, companionship, romance, action, and inspiration.  I can watch any
of them at any time and be completely drawn in.

Our last question is called “Shout It Out Loud”. It’s were you get to talk
about whatever you want to talk about. So go ahead and “SHOUT IT OUT LOUD”!

LOVE!!!!  LOVE!!!!  Can’t say it enough, put a little LOVE in your heart
people!  I would be happy to see more people walking around with more LOVE
in their hearts.  In the great words of Abraham Lincoln in “Bill and Ted’s
Excellent Adventure”: Be excellent to each other…  AND PARTY ON DUDES!!!!

KickActs interviews Carrie Lane!

google.com, pub-2427795083793513, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

Welcome to Kick Acts. Tell us a little about yourself and were you can be found online.

10486114_885371284823455_2454522163130425484_nWhat people don’t know about me is that I am a complete goofball. I have been getting messages from people I haven’t seen in years saying how impressed they are by all the things they see me doing and it makes me smile. Not just because they see that all of my hard work is paying off, but because they don’t know that behind the scenes I am still a total weirdo.

You can find me at www.CarrieLaneMusic.com

Who are your musical heroes and influences? Why?

My musical heroes are The Beatles. They are a group that is always timeless in my mind and that is hard for me to find in artists. I love all types and genres of music, but there are very few songs or groups that I can listen to no matter where I am, what I’m doing, or what I’m feeling. I can always listen to The Beatles and I can always find something to relate to in their music.

Do you have any advice for someone just getting started in the music business?

Anyone who starts out in the music business needs to be passionate because there is no doubt that it is going to get hard and the business is going to test how badly they want it, repeatedly and consistently. You need that drive and that will to stay strong when everything is not going as planned. You need to be hardworking and patient. If you do this and don’t try to cut corners, your time will come.

What piece of advice did you ignore that you wish you hadn’t?

My issue is that I take in all the advice that people give me. My mind is like a sponge and I soak in every bit of information people give me. So my issue is not ignoring advice that people give me, rather listening to people that I shouldn’t be!

Do you have a greatest gig story or worst gig horror story you’d like to share?

Once, there was someone who opened for me who was dressed in a full skeleton suit and played the same song over and over for his entire set. I don’t know if that is my greatest gig story or my worst gig horror story… you choose.

Do you have any other hobbies other than playing music? Collect stamps? Collect hats from off the side of the road? Draw pictures of peckers or boobs?  Make sock puppets? Sit in the dark and eat Cheetos?

Wow! Okay that question definitely made me blush. Oddly enough I like to color. Is that okay? I’m like a little kid when it comes to hobbies. I like to just sit with a coloring book and crayons. I find it very soothing whenever I’m stressed. Judge me.

Carrie Lane Album art

What do you think about the current music scene or lack of? Care to address that?

I think there has never been a greater time for music in my opinion. Although, people can still argue that only a specific type of music is on the radio… there are so many types of sub genres that are emerging that never could have come about years ago. The possibilities more music are multiplying and artists should be taking advantage of all of the opportunities out there.

Do you think reality shows like American Idol, X Factor and The Voice have helped or hurt the music industry as a whole?

I think that they are a unique part of the music industry that has never been able to really thrive in previous generations. I think with the way technology has evolved, shows like this are inevitable. They are interactive and make America believe that they are in control of picking the next big artist. However, little do they know these people are being hand picked to fit specific demographics that television networks are trying to promote.

What is your opinion of unauthorized music downloads?

What is anyone’s opinion of this? Don’t do it. Buy music, support artists. Period.

Tell us something about each of your band members that we wouldn’t expect to hear.

Aha! Yes, I get some revenge on my boys. Well let’s see I have three members of my band Dan Traglia, Dan Rufolo, and Vin Landolfi. Dan Traglia is my drummer and he’s the band leader, what you wouldn’t know about him is that every time he sits down for a meal he eats for a small village. Seriously, the guy eats his body weight in food every time he sits down it’s the most un-human thing I’ve ever seen. Dan Rufolo plays piano and is good at everything… I’m not even joking, he’s good at everything… it’s insane. That’s why I have to pick on him a bit because it’s just not fair. I decided that because there are two Dan’s in my band that I would call him Buttercup. So that it what he is called. And Vin most people think is the quiet one, but once you get to know him he’s hysterical. Sometimes (most of the time) he and Dan Traglia talk to each other in this weird other voice, it’s like their own language… it’s very strange. Bottom line, they’re all amazing and I love them because they’re super talented guys and insanely talented musicians, what more could I ask for?

Hypothetical situation. You’re on Gilligan’s Island and you get to hook up with only one of the survivors… Which one and why?

Ok… you are seriously dating yourself with this question! I am too young to have ever seen Gilligan’s Island! Although, I do know one character and that’s Ginger so I pick her because she’s hot.

Do you know what a vinyl album is and have your ever purchased one? If so, what was it?

Yes I know what a vinyl is! I have never purchased one. However, when my grandfather passed away he left me with his collection of vinyl records because he knew how much I love music. I still have all of them to this day.

You’re marooned on an island with Justin Bieber. Do you choke him out the first night in his sleep or what?

What’s with you and islands? I am not a violent person, nor a hater. I don’t think I would be anything but nice to the Beebz. He’s only human too…

What is your opinion of Miley Cyrus?

I think Miley Cyrus is an absolute genius. People can sit here and criticize her and scoff at everything she’s doing, but everything about what she is doing is calculated for success. As we’re sitting here judging, Miley is laughing all the way to the bank.

Which would you rather hear in concert?  Lip-synching or real vocals?

It depends on the type of concert. If you are going to hear some acoustic music or some rock and roll you want a live performance. If you want a large production with dancing and all that jazz, you’re going to lose quality of the voice. Sometimes backing vocals enhance the performance and that does not mean that the artist can’t sings, it means that is their choice to make that specific performance the best they can. Everyone uses backing tracks at one point or another; it is not something to be ashamed or criticized.

Who, or what, is the next big thing?

Me… Duh. Next Question!

Confession time. Share a secret about yourself.

One time I wrote #nofilter and I totally used a filter…

One artist you can’t get enough of and can’t live without is… Why?

I think this goes back to The Beatles man, can’t live without them.

Favorite movie of all time and why?

My favorite movie of all time is Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. It is a classic and I laugh just as hard every time I see it, there are not very many things in life that can manage to hold that timeless charm.

Our last question is called “Shout It Out Loud”. It’s where you get to talk about whatever you want to talk about. So go ahead and “SHOUT IT OUT LOUD”!

I just want to take my “Shout it Out Loud” time to encourage everyone to Pay it Forward. I think this movement is incredibly important. It does not have to be through money necessarily, just through the goodness of our hearts. If we continue to help others and breed positivity around us, positive things will come to us as well. That’s just the way of the universe. I am a strong person. And the best way to utilize your strength is to lift people up, not to put them down.

Welcome to Kick Acts. Tell us a little about yourself and were you can be found online.

Well we’re a three piece band from the state of Texas and we can be found on many sites online but our primary 3 are ReverbNation Twitter and Facebook those sites are :

www. ReverbNation com / feel never real

www. Twitter com / feel never real

www. Facebook.com / feel never real

Who are your musical heroes and influences? Why?

We have many different influences, most in the genre of Rock, such as nirvana Guns and Roses, but we’ve even been influenced by older country artists as well such as , Waylon Jennings and Hank Williams Jr and Ronnie Milsap Why, because its what we like.

Do you have any advice for someone just getting started in the music business?

DONT DO IT!!!! :), Naw , its tough tho. You’ve always had to put in the time but it seems to be tougher these days in alot of aspects that weren’t as tough before. Such as the amount of money to be made is somewhat less than before and thats fine just dont expect to be a multi millionaire and you’d be alright.

Touring is definitely tough as well not alot of people can eat the same sandwich for a month! ! 🙂

What piece of advice did you ignore that you wish you hadn’t?

we weren’t given alot of advice, unfortunately we really didnt know anyone in the industry when we moved to Dallas area so we got taken for lots of rides, but still thats how u learn. Ive shared some advice with others that im sure they wished they’d listened to

Do you have a greatest gig story or worst gig horror story you’d like to share?

definitely have had some awesome ones and some bad ones , the awesome ones are generally filled with people and they’re all singing the songs but nothing really specific without divulging some graphic information 🙂

Do you have any other hobbies other than playing music? Collect stamps? Collect hats from off the side of the road? Draw pictures of peckers or boobs? Make sock puppets? Sit in the dark and eat Cheetos?

Personally I love drag racing and more specifically 1/8th mile track, I have a truck I like to race and also have some friends with actual fast cars that are fun to be apart of as well

What do you think about the current music scene or lack of? Care to address that?

67317_10151527046758582_382955774_nIts definitely weird, not near as many bands pushing to get thru and venues are drying up, so its a definite chang, hopefully its just a phase , but who knows

Do you think reality shows like American Idol, X factor and The Voice have helped or hurt the music industry as a whole?

well if u ever get to look at a “contract” from those folks run unless u want to be a famous , poor, puppet

What is your opinion of unauthorized music downloads?

I dont really think there’s much to be done about it, that genie is out of the bottle. Bout all I think we can do is embrace it and hope those folks come to shows.

Tell us something about each of your band members that we wouldn’t expect to hear.

I am a idiot (Tim)

Shea dances real well

And Mat is Shelley’s new boyfriend (sick in the head)

Hypothetical situation. You’re on Gilligan’s island and you get to hook up with only one of the survivors… Which one and why?

Maryann im into the girl next door type

Do you know what a vinyl album is and have your ever purchased one? If so, what was it

When I was young I found a record player of my parents, so one day I was at the pawn shop and saw “appetite for destruction” on vinyl and remembered my older brother said it was awesome, so 5 $ bought my first record! ! So yeah I know 🙂

You’re marooned on an island with Justin Bieber. Do you choke him out the first night in his sleep or what?

Naw im afraid im a talkin kind of person so I figure someone’s better than nothing to talk to

What is your opinion of Miley Cyrus?418765_10151133121653582_1985904658_n

She’s obviously talented like her or not, its a shame to me that she’s surrounded by label and management folks that encourage her demise for a spectacle to sell records

Which would you rather hear in concert? Lip synching or real vocals?

Backing tracks to me are a joke , no band should do this

Who, or what, is the next big thing?

Honestly who knows, hopefully we are 🙂

One artist you can’t get enough of and can’t live without is…

Beatles truthfully

Confession time. Share a secret about yourself.

I love people, but I really enjoy kind of keeping to myself I’m not shy I just like to observe people

Favorite movie of all time and why.

The aviator I really like the cinematography it just has a real feel for the depiction of the time I think it’s pretty awesome Howard Hughes tells the US government to kiss his ass more or less

Our last question is called “Shout It Out Loud”. It’s were you get to talk about whatever you want to talk about. So go ahead and “SHOUT IT OUT LOUD”!

We are beginning to tour this summer and are looking forward to seeing is many fans as we can so please if you see we’re making it to your town come out and see us you won’t regret it
